Basic Function
Roles and Responsibilites
- Plan, prioritise, and assign testing tasks to team members, in accordance with project requirements and timelines.
- Review and analyse functional and technical requirements to develop test plans and strategies for various applications and systems.
- Perform manual testing activities, executing test cases, identifying defects, and tracking issues to closure.
- Design and maintain test scenarios, test data, and test scripts for functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure timely and accurate test coverage.
- Identify areas of improvement in the testing process, propose solutions, and implement best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide mentoring and guidance to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to manual testing and share knowledge with the team.
Experience & Skills
- At least 2+ years of experience in manual testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and experience in functional testing, regression testing, and SQL.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
- Proficient in writing detailed and comprehensive test cases.
- Familiarity with SDLC, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Ability to incorporate testing tools and frameworks effectively for efficient testing.
- Experience in Java programming would be a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Salesforce Admin Certification Mandatory.
